so as ever the factory has started to get busy but im still trying to find time to get the mk1 GP buggy done

here she is all stripped down ready for some welding

just waiting on the new panels to arrive to be cut out and welded in place

the body is inside having some repairs as as 30+years have taken a little toll but nothing serious

will keep you updated

back to dreaming of 70s metalflake paintwork

here is a little retro twin for jorys

my old shop grom who is now a fully fledged surf bum and thankfully has left the bodyboarding behind him. thats another one converted to real surf

even made some keels for the board to match

Tri Plane Hull

part way through the glassing a little tri plane hull

another shape that has been through the testing this winter and now goes into the list of models available

these things are super fun once you get the hang of them really makes you change your surfing lean in deep and plant all that rail in the face and hang on tight

got a few other things lurking in the room waiting to see light of day stay tuned

something to keep all you retro specialist newbies gawping but thats a rant for another day

as well as the usual work i have finally got round to finishing some other boards

a nice little stubby longboard and the velzey pig

slower year this year but mimizan has good waves so that means more time for surf

plus the epoxy shortboards are a winner so lots of them going out the doors

yes i am still here and still producing boards

its been a hard winter and a few of my fellow board makers have decided to call it a day mostly down to cheap asian boards flooding our markets

but what do you do ..... yep thats it keep making good boards and hope that people will see the difference

hello all
well it seems to have been a long cold winter but spring is beckoning
up here in the pine forests i have been busy changing the factory;cleaning building a dedicated epoxy room and a new shop at the front of the factory
its getting close...
also have been building a couple of boards getting ready to fill the racks

will let you all know when im opening the doors on the new shop pop by have an apero and a chat

got an order for a scoop deck fish

the guy had ridden one of the ones from last year and just wanted it to be thinned out on the tail,keeping harder edges

and a blk and whit resin tint

so here she is

here was cindy a sweet noserider

kept her all clean and clear you all know thats as hard as covering everything with a coloured tint.

built up a resin tail and was keen on keeping her untill team rider tommy came by and begged to have her

so being the softy i am i agreed

cindy because there was a blk spot in the foam just like mrs crawfords lip one

fish fry quiver

heres the quiver i took to the fish fry in ireland

there was a nice mix of old and new

even an asymmetrical to keep things moving on.

the fry was not overly well advertised and seemed a little more low key than normal but hey....

so heres what i took let me know your thoughts

even though they were not liked by the judges due to not having lockbox fitted i was still happy with them and had very good feedback from others even some very nice compliments from rich pavel

so better start thinking for next year

well im still trying to get ready for the fish fry in ireland

also been doing a couple of custom boards for some girls who work for tommy the sponsor boy

so had to do a logo and came up with this little number

i like the idea

well now back to the fish

the shaping room needs cleaning too any takers out there ????

had some balsa and redwood laying about
so made up a d fin not the classic shape but a little more raked
after i cut it i saw the layup was off so does that make it a setting sun ?????

well its laid up and shaped so now to the glassing
im thinking of laying a sweet translucent on top
and a little hand made fin
lets see now......
its my new egg shape planned and tried out in all conditions and ready for the unsuspecting public
wide nose nice volume in the middle and thinned out rails should go like a frieght train

great thing for here in france the shorebreak is perfect.

first off you get to make a unique fin for your board
and you get to check your eyesight with the fioiling process

well back to work for the new year
its soo cold but het the surf has been clean and empty
heres a fin panel im working on for a nice old log
hoping itll be a nice D fin
will foil it over the next couple of days and post up the result

yep iknow its been a long time since september
but i have been kind of busy
built some boards and some skates oh and some fins

but mainly was getting ready for the birth of my son

happily TOBY arrived all good on the 15th november
so we have a new member in the glide collective,im sure itll be a few years till he starts shaping but i hope he will be up and riding soon

now hes out and everything is settling down im gonna have to go to the factory spring clean a little and get back on track have some great ideas i need to transfer into foam and resin

its a rolled bottom s deck volan with a nice large flexfin glassed on
